A second version of the hugely successful 3Doodler project, a 3D printing pen that came through a funding on Kickstarter, is set to give the Innovative gadget a much anticipated comeback in the form of the 3Doodler 2.0 3D printing pen. The second iteration of the pen promises to be a slimmer, less heavy, quieter, and more simpler to use version f the original that gave users the power of a 3D printer in the palm of their hands.

Made by WobbleWorks, an emerging American technology company that lays claim to having one of Kickstarter’s most popular and highest funded consumer devices of all time through the original 3Doodler pen. WobbleWorks has completely revamped the 3D pen’s design utilising over 2 years of feedback from thousands of users of the first version of the pen, as well as research and development to come up with a smaller, more ergonomic beauty in a in a sleek metallic casing.

3Doodler Comparison

A relatively affordable way to own a 3D printer, the 3Doodler 3D printing pen is at the forefront of making 3D creation and design technology more accessible to consumers. Designed to be compact and simple to use, the 3Doodler works by producing a heated plastic that quickly cools into a solid and stable structure without the need for computers or software. You simply plug the pen into a power socket and start drawing, which means anyone with design and creative ideas can make anything they want!

Like the first 3D Printing pen before it, 3Doodler 2.0’s return is being financed on KickStarter again and the project has already achieved a funding of over $700, 000 for a goal of  $30.00 at the time of going to press. The second version promises to be even more popular than the first 3Doodler pen and with the ability to create anything from jewellery, to 3Doodled clothes, architectural models, and even writing braille, the creative possibilities are endless.
