UPS Unveils its own Delivery Drone

It is now quite obvious that drones will play a big part in our future, with one crucial aspect being delivery drones. Amazon is already trialing versions of its own delivery drones that will drop your online shopping right by your doorstep on the same day. Whether this will become the standard mode of most deliveries or not, companies with an interest in the sector cannot afford to standby and watch. This may be why package delivery company UPS is working on its delivery drone.

According to a video made by Wired, the drones will get loaded in the delivery vans and then fly out to customers. The drones will take off and return to a roof port during and after delivery. Check out UPS’s vision of a delivery drone in the Wired video below:
